If yours isn't listed, ask us — we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right place for it.
A clinic and a gym, not one pretending to be both.
The therapists who practise here.
Worked with Lauren for the last 10 months after an ACL and meniscus repair. I am back to playing rugby, surfing, pickleball, and long distance running.
Dr. Claudio Aldag has been incredible. I have recovered faster than expected and feel confident I will make a full recovery with his guidance.
Been suffering with on and off shoulder pain and immobility for years and tried several places that didn't seem to help in the long run. With a few months of working together I feel better than ever.
He had broken his collarbone and was trying to get back on the baseball diamond. His assessment and plan were very thorough and Lauren's care and compassion were amazing.
Your first visit, and here is where it goes.
-
01What you want back
Not a form and a wait. We start with the thing you are trying to return to, and what has stopped working.
-
02The assessment
How you actually move, tested on the equipment in the room rather than guessed at from a table.
-
03Treatment and first load
Hands-on work where it helps, then your first loading work — the same visit, not the next one.
-
04The plan
What we do next, and what to do between now and then. You leave with a plan, not a handout.

Powell, a block from Washington Square.
The 30 and 45 Muni lines stop on Columbus a block away, and the Powell–Mason cable car runs two blocks up.
Parking: street parking, and bike parking out front. Note: there are three steps at the entrance.
Before you come in.
Do you take my insurance?
We are out of network and bill nothing to your insurer directly. You pay a flat visit rate and we hand you a superbill to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Rates are on the pricing page.
How long is the first visit?
Long enough for a full evaluation and treatment on day one — one-on-one with your therapist the whole time. No aides, no doubling up.
Where exactly do I park?
Street parking on and around Powell St. If you ride, there’s bike parking out front.
Do I need a referral?
California is a direct-access state — you can be seen without a physician referral. Some insurance plans require one for coverage, so if you're using benefits, check your plan or ask us and we'll look into it.
Is this location accessible?
There are three steps at the entrance. If stairs are a barrier, our SoMa studio at 1118 Howard St. has a step-free entrance — call and we’ll help you pick the right location.
Can I train here after I finish rehab?
Yes. Performance training runs out of the same gym, so the handoff from rehab to training happens in one place with people who already know your history.
