Dr. Lauren Davis
A therapist who stays with you the whole way — from the first painful week to the day you stop thinking about it.
Who Lauren helps
Most people come to Lauren with one of these.
She got into this from the patient’s side of it.
About Lauren
Lauren found physical therapy through her own soccer injuries — and stayed for the part she didn’t expect: the relationships you build with people over a long recovery.
That shapes how she works. She wants to know what you are actually trying to get back to, and she stays with it past the point where the pain stops — because that is usually where people get reinjured. A former college athlete who has since finished multiple marathons and Ironmans, she skis, runs and hikes, which is a large part of why she is good at getting people back to those things.
Every visit at Kauno is one-on-one with your therapist. No aides, no doubling up, no being handed a sheet of exercises and left in a corner.
What a first visit looks like
- 01One-on-one from the start, beginning with what you’re trying to get back to.
- 02A movement assessment — we find what actually reproduces the symptom.
- 03Hands-on treatment plus your first loading work, done the same visit.
- 04You leave with a plan, an honest timeline, and two or three things to do.

What she offers
Physical Therapy
Hands-on treatment and progressive loading to get you out of pain and back to full capacity. We treat the cause, not just the symptom.

I am back to playing rugby, surfing, pickleball, and long distance running. If you're an athlete or someone who wants to get back to sport, Kauno is a great place to go.
“Lauren knows exactly when to push and when to be understanding, striking the perfect balance between encouragement and getting straight to the point.”
“My 10-year-old son broke his collarbone and was trying to get back on the baseball diamond. The assessment and plan were very thorough, and Lauren's care and compassion were amazing.”
Soccer first, then the clinic.
