About Renae

Renae competed in swimming, artistic swimming and water polo, and has been through injury and rehab herself — from the athlete’s side of it.

She worked as a student athletic trainer with Division I athletes at USC before her doctorate, and has since trained specifically in concussion management and vestibular disorders — the dizziness, balance and head-injury cases most orthopedic clinics refer out. She still trains and competes with U.S. Masters Swimming, and does pottery on the side.

Every visit at Kauno is one-on-one with your therapist. No aides, no doubling up, no being handed a sheet of exercises and left in a corner.

What a first visit looks like

  1. 01One-on-one from the start, beginning with what you’re trying to get back to.
  2. 02A movement assessment — we find what actually reproduces the symptom.
  3. 03Hands-on treatment plus your first loading work, done the same visit.
  4. 04You leave with a plan, an honest timeline, and two or three things to do.
